Fever in children: when to see a doctor
Fever is common in children and is often the body's response to infection.
Keep your child hydrated and comfortable. Give medicines only as advised by a doctor.
See a doctor quickly if the baby is under 3 months, the fever is very high, or the child is unusually sleepy, has trouble breathing, or has fits.
